Love the mod, very useful, I specifically use it on 1.20.1, and I noticed there was no way to define blockstates for blocks (for example, blocks that change depending on direction, blocks with unique hit-boxes, or blocks that can be activated or deactivated such as a lever, button, or pressure plate) and in turn I end up having to create separate blocks for each iteration, which is not ideal. So I would love if there was a way to have those blockstates be present.
I also noticed the blocks don't seem to be affected by connected textures I try to give them through the Continuity mod, and I figure it's something to do with the ID names, and wanted to know how that could be addressed.

This isn't normally the kind of thing I would post an issue about, but couldn't find any other way to contact. Thanks for reading.

Sorry for the late answer, and thanks for the great suggestion. (it's in the right place here)

While completely customizable Blocks (hitbox, states...) are out of scope for this mod, I will add the ability to add variants of all kinds (as many as relatively easily possible) of vanilla blocks (stairs, slabs, blocks with axis and block with direction, maybe even clones of existing redstone-enabled blocks like doors, levers...) whenever I get to work on this mod again.

I plan to take a look at the Continuity incompatibility tomorrow.
